Geert De Decker was born February 21, 1969 in Temse, Belgium. He attended Saint-Lucas artschool in Gent. Sztuka Fabryka is a worldwide non-profit artists’ organisation, conceived conceptually by Geert De Decker, with technical and creative support of Bert Rocket (U.S.A.), Stanislaw Dragowanowitz (U.S.S.R.) and Sir Walter Crunckett the 3rd of Paddington High (Scotland). He has been active in the international Mail Art network and other art networks since 1986. He has been the curator of the yearly international “Independent Arts”-Festival since 1988. He is the writer of the “Mail-Art Encyclopaedia”. De Decker is known for his well catalogued archive of activities in the international independent networks with artworks, publications, video, music and more, and his information on about 1500 international artists.

Geert De Decker wurde 1969 in Temse, Belgien, geboren. Er besuchte die Saint-Lucas-Kunstschule in Gent. Sztuka Fabryka ist eine weltweite non-profit Künstlerorganisation, die De Decker konzeptuell entwickelt hat. Unterstützt wird er dabei technologisch und kreativ von Bert Rocket (U.S.A.), Stanislaw Dragowanowitz (U.S.S.R.) und Sir Walter Crunckett the 3rd of Paddington High (Schottland). Seit 1986 ist er im Mail Art Netzwerk und anderen Kunstnetzwerken aktiv. Er organisiert seit 1988 das jährliche “Independent Arts”-Festival in verschiedenen belgischen Orten.
Seit 1991 nennt er sich auch Sztuka Fabryka. 1992 nahm er am 2. weltweiten dezentralen Mail Art-Congress im Zoo Antwerpen teil. Auf seiner Website schreibt er u.a. an einer Mail Art-Enzyklopädie.
