Leben und Arbeit/biography
Roberto Keppler was born in São Paulo in 1951. He studied design and engraving techniques at the Faculdade de Artes Plásticas (1970–1975) and Civil Engineering at Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado.
His friends, artist Genilson Soares and teacher Walter Zanini, introduced him to Mail Art, and he became an active part of it in 1979. Keppler had some exhibitions and printed books with short editions of Visual Poetry.

Roberto Keppler wurde 1951 in São Paulo geboren. Er studierte Design und Drucktechniken an der Faculdade de Artes Plásticas von 1970 bis 1975, sowie Bauingenieurwesen an der Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado.
Seine Freunde, Künstler Genilson Soares und Lehrer Walter Zanini, machten ihn auf die Mail Art aufmerksam, an der er ab 1979 aktiv teilnahm. Keppler druckt auch eigene Bücher mit Visueller Poesie.
