Reinhard Schmidt wurde 1956 in Steinach/Thüringen geboren. Nach dem Abitur studierte er von 1977 bis 1982 an der Ostberliner Kunsthochschule Architektur. Daneben beschäftigte er sich mit der Aquarellmalerei. Mit der Mail Art-Szene wurde er 1986 durch Lutz Wohlrab bekannt gemacht. Im Sommer 1989 floh er über Ungarn nach Westberlin. Er ist bis heute als freier Architekt in Berlin tätig. Seine Mail Art-Aktivitäten kamen ab 1996 langsam zum Erliegen.

Reinhard Schmidt was born in Steinach/Thuringia in 1956. After his university-entrance diploma he studied architecture at the Kunsthochschule in East Berlin (1977 to 1982). Besides that he engaged himself in watercolor paintings. In 1986 he was introduced to the Mail Art scene by Lutz Wohlrab. In the summer of 1989 he flew to West Berlin via Hungary. He is still working as a free architect in Berlin. His Mail Art activities slowly came to an end around 1996.

David Cole was born December 27, 1939. He drew and wrote and saw his art as a constant process of transition and transformation. He did indoor and outdoor shows and performances, was engaged in Visual Poetry and Mail Art. He died April 19, 2000 in Monclair, New Jersey, USA.

1985 The scroll unrolls, the first Mail Art Show in Israel.

Er machte Ausstellungen und Performances in Häusern und im Freien sowie Visuelle Poesie und Mail Art. Er starb am 19. April 2000 in Monclair, New Jersey, USA.
