Leben und Arbeit/biography
Claudio Grandinetti was born in Cosenza, Italy, in 1952, where he still lives today. Since 2001 he has been working at Magna Græcia University in Catanzaro, Italy. In 1975 he had his first solo exhibition. In 2000 he entered the Mail Art network. His works are featured in many magazines, like Vortice, Argentina, and Boek 861, Spain.
He was invited to the 51st and 53rd Biennale di Venezia, the London Biennal, and the Ankara Biennal. Since 2002 he has been art director of the Guzzardi International Mail Art Archive, that can be found on the Ceris Arte web site. In 2004 he organized the 1st Mail Art Biennal with the project Invadere le Invasioni and a festival. In 2006 he organized the 2nd Mail Art Biennal with the project Tarocchi (Tarots) and the third exhibition of the International Mail Art Archive in Cosenza. In 2008 he organized the 3rd Mail Art Biennal with Project Macchina da scrivere (Typewriter) and in the 2010 the 4th Biennal with the Project Il Gufo (The Owl).
Furthermore, Claudio Grandinetti is director of the International Mail Art Archive A.I.M.A.

Claudio Grandinetti wurde 1952 in Cosenza, Italien, geboren, wo er auch heute noch lebt. Seit 2001 arbeitet er an der Magna Græcia Universität in Catanzaro, Italien. 1975 hatte er seine erste Einzelaustellung. Seit 2000 beschäftigt er sich auch mit Mail Art. Seine Arbeiten wurden in vielen Magazinen abgebildet, u.a. in Vortice, Argentinien, und Boek 861, Spanien.
