Leben und Arbeit/biography
Pascal Minart was born in Normandy in 1967. He grew up between the soft green of the landscape and the blue sea. After studying at the University of Arts in Rennes (Brittany), where he discovered Mail Art, he returned to Normandy. Pascal Minart lives in Ouistreham, a beach resort, where he worked as a social worker and is striving to make art in the public at large and to teach.
In 2002 he co-founded the association “Artotem” where (Mail Art) exhibitions are shown. His Mail Art signature is a fish.
Pascal Minart wurde 1967 in der Normandie geboren. So wuchs er zwischen dem sanften Grün der Landschaft und dem Blau des Meeres auf. Nach dem Studium an der Universität der Künste Rennes (Bretagne), wo er die Mail Art entdeckte, kehrte er in die Normandie zurück. Pascal Minart lebt in Ouistreham, einem Badeort, wo er als Sozialarbeiter tätig ist und sich darum bemüht, Kunst in der breiten Öffentlichkeit bekannt zu machen und zu lehren.
Im Jahr 2002 gründete er den Verein “Artotem” mit, wo Ausstellungen, auch von Mail Art, gezeigt werden. Das Symbol für seine Mail Art ist ein Fisch.
