Maria Grazia Martina was born in San Cesario di Lecce on 1957, and has been living and has been working as a History of Art teacher in the Vicenza area, since 1986. As a Visual artist, she has been using “writing” as the main focus of her works, editing authors’ literary and art works. Her interest in art criticism started first with an original “dialogue with the art work”, then under shape of calligrams and poetic prose. She has dicovered visual poetry through the creation of her own calligraphic sign, producing Artist’s books or OperaLibro. Since 2003 she has been active in the network of mail art.
Maria Grazia Martina wurde 1957 in San Cesario di Lecce geboren. Sie lebt in der Provinz Vicenza und lehrt dort seit 1986 Kunstgeschichte. Sie ist auch bildende Künstlerin und benutzt das “Schreiben” als Schwerpunkt für ihre Arbeiten. Ihr Interesse am Bearbeiten literarischer und künstlerischer Werke anderer Autoren führte vom Dialog mit dem Kunstwerk zu poetischen Calligrammen und zur Schaffung von Künstlerbüchern, die sie OperaLibro nennt. Seit 2003 ist sie im Netzwerk der Mail Art aktiv.
Maria Grazia Martina nasce a San Cesario di Lecce nel 1957; vive e lavora nella provincia di Vicenza, dal 1986 è Docente di Storia dell’Arte. Artista visiva, si occupa di scrittura, cura testi critici per autori di poesia e arte figurativa. Ha iniziato il suo percorso creativo interessandosi di critica d’arte, dapprima attraverso un originale “dialogo con l’opera” e successivamente in forma di calligramma e di prosa poetica. E’ approdata alla poesia visiva mediante l’elaborazione di un personale segno calligrafico, ha realizzato Libri d’Artista intesi come OperaLibro.
